DUOMO acquires 51% of CONFORMA, its main supplier in Brazil.

DUOMO announces a purchase agreement for 51% of the shareholding of CONFORMA (Tecnoforma Estampagem e Conformação Ltda.), which has been its main supplier in Brazil for medium sheet metal, specializing in laser cut stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum parts.

“With the acquisition of a majority holding in the share capital of CONFORMA, the DUOMO Group consolidates itself in the Brazilian market to offer global service to leading clients in the South American continent” affirms Enrique Sanmartín, Manager of DUOMO.  “We will take advantage of this investment to continue growing in a country that champions Renewable Energies” he adds.

CONFORMA, founded in 1996, has production facilities of 4,000 m2 and grounds of 2,000 m2.  It is located in the town of Guarulhos in the State of São Paolo. As a result of this acquisition, carried out at the end of December 2015, the human capital of the Duomo Group has doubled, reaching 200 employees, with sales of close to 25 million euros.
